Rest in Peace
So it is thanksgiving this weekend and I am off to the inlaws place in Wetaskiwin.
I thought that I would take this picture and post it because when I was a kid I would have to walk past this house when I would go swimming. I don’t know why I think about this house but I do all the time. The weird thing about it I think about a specific time I walked by this house.
There wasn’t anything special about this time I think about just that I remember it was a nice warm day and the leaves on the trees were really green.
hey there I have not fallen off the face of the earth I just have been busy and have not got time to write anything as of late.
So I have been doing some work for CP rail as of late and I would like to say that it has been the shittiest thing that I have done ever in the construction field. Basically I have been gutting the interior if a train car. Of course I do this (demolition) for a living but I have never had to deal with a train car.
I was told that it would basically be just unscrewing panels and what not. OH not so I learned when I got to the job. Sure I have unscrewed somethings but for the most part we have had to cut everything out with grinders and saws. To top things off the contractor that we are dealing with is a bit of an ass hat.
For one reason or another he thinks that we can BRUTE force shit out. We have told him that this is not possible and he still wants to try it.
There are 2 cars in this project that we have to do and we are working on one car and in the other one there is a group of rig pigs (rig workers). They are the ones that are trying to just rip shit out without dismantling it first. My foreman has gone over there a few times and told them that they are doing it wrong but they won’t listen.
I look at it this way when it comes to trying to get these fucktards to do what needs to me done is this. If I ever go to a rig and I am doing something wrong you will tell me how to do it properly. SO FUCKING LISTEN TO WHAT WE ARE TELLING YOU WHEN YOU ARE IN OUR HOUSE!!!!!!
So me and the wife decided that we would drop the little monster of at the grandparents and go see a movie. We went and saw the movie the Heat. I am a fan of both Melissa McCarthy and Sandra Bullock.
Needless to say I was not disappointed when it came to this movie. I think I laughed from the beginning of the movie until the end. At first I was a little iffy when it came to this movie. For one reason or another I wasn’t really feeling it.
One day Iwas listening to the Morning Streamand they were talking about it and kind of put this movie into perspective. Basically Hollywood is running out of ideas and thought that it might be time to resurrect the buddy cop movie (i.e. 48 hrs). Well it seems like they did it because from what I have heard this has a rumoured sequel in the works.
Well if they do make another one lets hope it is as funny as the last one.
So I have been sitting here in the man cave listening to some tunes while looking for Elmos world for Oliver. And I decided that I would look up some Tony Sly videos and I stumbled upon a video of Yellow card doing a tribute to him last year.
I never realised that Thursday will be 1 year since he passed away…
